Thailand appeals to support the EU in resolving the Myanmar crisis

The Bangkok Post writes that Thailand’s foreign minister appealed to the European Union (EU) to support it in dealing with the Myanmar crisis. At the 24th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting held on Friday in Brussels, Belgium, Mr. Papree Vahidhanukara made such a request. In discussing the situation in Myanmar, Mr. Phappri said that he hoped that the EU would support the humanitarian aid sponsored by Thailand as a first small step for a positive dialogue between all the groups involved in Myanmar and the international community in hopes of finding a solution to the Myanmar crisis.

ASEAN and the EU can work together to create change, he said. Comprehensiveness and comprehensiveness are the principles of the ASEAN Vision for the Indo-Pacific (AOIP). In the European Union, the Indo-Pacific region is free, open rule-based; The Thai foreign minister said that he has a future vision of inclusiveness. When the world is facing conflict, Mr. Papree discussed how to come together and stick together for peace and stability.
