Law of Military Conscription passed by the Military Council

The Military Council has announced that the National Military Service Law, which will require adult men and women to serve in the military, will come into force today on February 10.

Any citizen of military age can be called up for military service for a period not exceeding 24 months. The law states that experts can be called up for military service for a period not exceeding (36) months. In case of an emergency, the military service period can be extended to 5 years.
